Welcoming our new Student Ambassadors for 2023/24

The European Institute is delighted to announce five new Student Ambassadors for 2023/24 and the promotion of three Ambassadors from our previous cohort.

Lorenzo Tendron is a fourth-year European Social and Political Studies student. He applied to become a European Institute Ambassador to enhance the institute's visibility amongst UCL students and beyond.

Charlotte Wienberg is a third-year undergraduate student of Politics & International Relations. Her interests lie in the development of the EU as a regional player, foreign affairs and climate change.

Matthieu Hildreth is a final-year on the UCL-Sciences Po dual degree, reading European Social and Political studies and specializing in Economics. He is also Director of Finance for the student-led think tank European Horizons.

Tea Zyberaj is currently pursuing an MSc in European Politics and Policy. Her research focuses on analysing the EU's foreign policy architecture and the bloc's international identity  within a more uncertain and transitional global order. 

Éa Marty is currently in her second year pursuing a BA in Politics, Sociology, and East European Studies. She applied for the European Institute Student Ambassador position because of her enthusiasm for European politics and International Relations.

We also have three members of the 2022-23 team who will be re-joining us as Senior Student Ambassadors:

Elena Sofia Massacesi is a second-year student of Politics and International Relations (PIR). Elena also works as a Core Writer for UCL European Horizons and is a student ambassador for Chatham House events.

Yanis Fekar is a third-year student of Politics and International Relations. He has an interest in European affairs and writes for La Revue [DEMOS], a French media outlet that focuses on making academic perspectives on geopolitics accessible through social media.

Irini Tombazi is a third-year Law LLB student at UCL. Her interests include European culture and identity, European Union law, family law and corporate law.
