Welcoming our new Student Ambassadors for 2022/23

The European Institute is delighted to announce six new student ambassadors for 2022/23.
Elena Sofia Massacesi is a second-year student of Politics and International Relations (PIR). Elena also works as a Core Writer for UCL European Horizons and is a student ambassador for Chatham House events.
Lorenzo Donatelli is a third year student reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) with Social Data Analysis. He strives to further the European integration process and define the raison d'être of the European project through economic public policy.
Irini Tombazi is a second year Law LLB student. Her interests include European culture and identity, European Union law, family law and corporate law.
Josh Jones is a third year student reading History. His interests include democratic integrity, disinformation, and human rights. He is also volunteers for United Against Inhumanity and is co Editor-in-Chief of Pi Magazine at UCL.
Chaya Steinsaltz is a second year student of History, Politics and Economics. Chaya wants to use her role as a student ambassador to help engage students more effectively. Her areas of interest include EU-UK and EU-Russia relationships, particularly in a post-Brexit and post-Ukraine invasion context.
Yanis Fekar is a first year student of Politics and International Relations. He has an interest in European affairs and writes for La Revue [DEMOS], a French media outlet that focuses on making academic perspectives on geopolitics accessible through social media.
