A concert to mark the culmination of a collaborative research project between Academy singers, composers and researchers, with colleagues from University College London. Exploring diverse ‘translations’ of women’s voices and experiences, it juxtaposes new songs by composition students with extracts from song cycles by Lili Boulanger, Claire Delbos and Gabriel Fauré.
The event is free and part of Music Futures, the initiative dedicated to thinking, writing and performing music, jointly hosted by the UCL European Institute and the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies, with support from UCL Grand Challenges. For further details, see the Music Futurers website here.
