UCL researcher recipient of ASLA Honour Award 2017

Dr Matluba Khan, Research Associate at the

instituteofhealthequity.org/" target="_blank">IEHC's,  Institute of Health Equity, has been recognised by the American Association of Landscape Architects as the recipient of the Honour Award in the Student Community Services category. Dr Khan has received this award for the outdoor learning environment she co-designed and developed in a Government primary school in Bangladesh, engaging children, teachers and the community. She also evaluated the impact of the designed schoolyard for children's learning, play and well-being. The project was conducted as part of her PhD research at the University of Edinburgh
