The Lithuanian part of the HAPIEE study is leader by Professor Abdonas Tamosiunas, Head of the Department of Population Studies, Institute of Cardiology, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas.
Participants for the Lithuanian HAPIEE study were recruited from a random population sample in Kaunas.
Professor Tamosiunas and his colleagues at the LUMS have been involved in a number of HAPIEE study publications
