Tristan Lloyd

Tristan Lloyd graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MEng in Civil Engineering. After working for Halcrow's flood modelling team, Tristan joined EPICentre in October 2008 to undertake a PhD researching vulnerability of coastal infrastructure to tsunami. His PhD is funded by the EPSRC and Arup.

Tristan's research covers wide areas; from experimental physical modelling of long waves, analysis of fluid pressures on structures, post-tsunami field investigations to Samoa and Chile and damage / fragility analysis of buildings.
