UNESCO Chairs Seminar - An Overview of the Pact of the Future

We are pleased to announce the upcoming series of online UNESCO Chairs Seminars, Towards a Pact for the Future, from March to July 2024.

UNESCO Chairs, UNITWIN Networks, and other specialists are invited to join these monthly Seminars on the topics of the Pact for the Future (see zero draft), the proposed outcome document of the UN Summit of the Future: Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow. 

You are warmly invited to register for the first UNESCO Chairs Seminar in this series, An Overview of the Pact for the Future, on Tuesday 5 March 2024, 15:00-16:30 (Paris time).

We take this opportunity to highlight two upcoming conferences:

• XVIII World Congress of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) on the theme ‘Fostering Inclusive Ecologies of Knowledge: Education for Equitable and Sustainable Futures’, 22-26 July 2024, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, United States of America. The Call for Submissions deadline has been extended to Wednesday 20 March 2024.
• UNESCO Chairs and Partners Forum ‘Transforming Knowledge for Africa’s Future’, 25-27 September 2024, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (soon open for registration). 

We are also pleased to share the recordings in English and French of the UNESCO Chairs Seminar: Empowering African Science: Enhancing Research and Collaboration through Remote Access & Networking, held on Wednesday 13 December 2023. Feel free to transmit these to your research networks, including colleagues and students.
