Franklin landfall in the Dominican Republic potentially affecting school and road infrastructure

Today tropical storm Franklin will make landfall in the Dominican Republic today. As part of the "Minimizing Education Disruption Following Natural Hazards in the Dominican Republic" project, UNESCO has requested the assistance of the UNESCO Chair in Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience Engineering in analyzing the potential impacts of hurricane-related rainfall flooding on school and road infrastructure in the San Pedro de Macoris province.
