Dr Parammal Vatteri presented on the ‘Stochastic modelling for multi-hazard resilience of school systems’ in the session entitled ‘Multi-hazard risk management approaches across disaster risk management and climate change adaptation’. It was a successful event with interesting presentations, questions and discussions on a range of issues around disaster risk reduction, build back better and climate change adaptation. Moreover, the two researchers had a chance to network with a number of researchers from institutions across the UK and abroad.
