Professor Tiziana Rossetto won the 2017 Shah Family Fund
Distinguished Lecture award.

This prestigious annual prize was awarded by the
Blume Earthquake Engineering Center of Stanford University. Tiziana delivered a
lecture title "
New Approaches for Tsunami Impact Assessment" at Stanford on the
21
st February 2017.
Whilst at Stanford, Tiziana also had the opportunity of delivering a lecture to
PhD students of the Civil Engineering department on the 2009 L'Aquila
earthquake and its recovery. The image shows Tiziana with some of these
