Prof. Hugh Griffiths to appear on Christmas University Challenge

Prof. Hugh Griffiths will feature in the Christmas University Challenge on Christmas Day, taking on the Guildhall School of Music and Drama

If you're looking to take on your family/friends in this year's Christmas festivities...tune into BBC2 at 8pm on Christmas Day for the Christmas University Challenge, where the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering's Prof. Hugh Griffiths will form a part of the UCL team taking on the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. 
 
Jeremy Paxman will host the third round of the festive quiz featuring teams of famous alumni. This episode pits Hugh and the rest of the UCL team - including BBC presenter Maryam Moshiri, Arctic explorer Pen Hadow and journalist Poppy Sebag-Montefiore - in a festive but fierce contest with a team from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, including Actors Monica Dolan and Bob Barrett.

Biography
Professor Hugh Griffiths joined the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 1982 and served as Head of Department from 2001-2006. Apart from his academic interests he enjoys horticulture and military interest.
