Biography

Thomas S. Miller is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering and the Electrochemical Innovation Lab (EIL). He gained his MChem (2009) and PhD (2014) at Warwick University, before moving to UCL.  He holds on an EPSRC fellowship aimed at developing next-generation supercapacitors and high-power energy systems from fundamentals to device scale. He is an expert in nanomaterials creation, characterisation and electrochemistry, as well as the in-operando understanding of materials for energy storage using electrochemical scanning probe techniques.
