Background
Peie joined the EIL as a PhD student in September 2022. Before this, he recieved a BEng degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2019 and an MSc degree in Advanced Materials Science from UCL in 2020. Following this, he completed work experience in the Chinese lithium battery industry.
Research Summary
Peie's research focuses on aqueous zinc ion batteries. Investigating electrode materials and designing high-loading and stable cathodes for future commercial AZIB are included. Some in-situ characterisation techniques are used to study the materials and electrodes.
