Further study was completed mostly on the luminescent properties of heterometallic complexes. Upon completion of the undergraduate Master’s, Llŷr gained experience as a teacher at Ysgol Glantaf – a Welsh language secondary school in Cardiff before later joining the EIL in 2023.
Llŷr's current research is in water and thermal management diagnostics and control within fuel cell systems under the supervision of Dr Thomas Miller.
