Econometric Society 2024 Prizes: Raffaella Giacomini & Vasiliki Skreta Win!

Raffaella Giacomini and Vasiliki Skreta are among the winners of the Econometric Society’s 2024 Prizes!
The inaugural Sonnenschein Service Prize for service to the Econometric Society and the profession at large is awarded to Andreu Mas-Colell. I will be presenting the Prize to Andreu in person at the Latin American Meeting of the Econometric Society in Montevideo, Uruguay, this November.
The inaugural Arrow Prize for the best theory paper published in Econometrica in the preceding four years is awarded to Laura Doval and Vasiliki Skreta for their paper "Mechanism Design with Limited Commitment," published in Econometrica in July 2022. For more information, please click here.
The 2024 Frisch Medal for the best applied (empirical or theoretical) paper published in Econometrica in the preceding four years is awarded to Dennis Egger, Johannes Haushofer, Edward Miguel, Paul Niehaus, and Michael Walker for their paper "General Equilibrium Effects of Cash Transfers: Experimental Evidence from Kenya," published in Econometrica in November 2022. The inaugural Haavelmo Prize for the best econometrics paper published in Econometrica in the preceding four years is awarded to Raffaella Giacomini and Toru Kitagawa for their paper "Robust Bayesian Inference for Set-Identified Models," published in the July 2021 issue of Econometrica.
