Sir Richard Blundell receives the ONS Research Excellence Award!

The Office for National Statistics awards Professor Sir Richard Blundell et al. at the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy (CPP) at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and University College London for their work on informing policies to tackle inequities.

This reserach project focused on crucial policy topics such as :

• Intergenerational differences in income and wealth
• The consequences of potential post-Brexit trade barriers on the distribution of wages
• The role of firm-level innovation in boosting the wages of those in low-skilled occupations
• The impacts of automatic enrolment on the workplace pension membership of different groups
