First class: Collaboration with the China Britain Medical Dental Association

Last week, our CPD department was delighted to welcome 20 dentists from China for the second part of their ten-day Implant Masterclass, run in collaboration with the China Britain Medical Dental Association (CBMDA). CBMDA is an organisation run by Dr Ray Zhang and Prof Stephen Dunne, and is dedicated to providing high-quality dental CPD for Chinese dentists.

Dr Dev Patel and Dr Pareet Shah visited Shanghai in September to deliver part one of the Implant Masterclass, and enjoyed a great few days sharing the Eastman’s world-renowned education with this new audience.

Last weeks busy programme included two live surgeries and two hands-on workshops over five days.

This is the first of many planned Masterclasses run with CBMDA and their dedicated team of organisers, both in the UK and China.

Head of CPD, Professor Albert Leung said: ‘It is with absolute delight that we welcome this group of experienced implantologists to our ten-day Masterclass.

We look forward to working closely with Dr Zhang and Prof Dunne from CBMDA to provide further educational opportunities for Chinese dentists on a range of topics’.
