Eastman Dental Institute

During the pandemic, UCL Eastman has continued delivering excellent postgraduate training to those enrolled on our specialist programmes.

Building on our existing distance-learning expertise, we have developed a sophisticated range of online teaching and assessment methods.

Our plans for welcoming new students in September 2020 remain unchanged, although we will continue to monitor the complex, evolving situation. We currently envision delivering most didactic and theoretical training online, with face-to-face clinical skills teaching in our new, state-of-the-art facilities wherever possible. The latter will be in small groups, enabling us to be mindful of any social distancing measures in place. We are also anticipating continuing access to clinical cases in the UCLH Eastman Dental Hospital.

Inevitably staff and students will need to be prepared to respond flexibly to changes in Governmental advice but we are excited to meet our new postgraduates and begin our journey with them.
