Emeritus Professor of Auditory Biophysics, David Kemp, discovered oto-acoustic emissions while working at UCL. Since then, the world of Audiology has changed drastically for the better. Thanks to his discovery, newborn hearing screening programmes have been developed all over the world. He continues to be the utmost authority on the subject and pushes forward research in the area.
