Founded in 2010, the UCL Centre for Digital Humanities (UCLDH) is a cross-faculty research centre, bringing together a vibrant network of people who teach and research in a wide range of disciplines, in the heart of London.

UCLDH is composed of a management team, a team of staff from Information Studies and related departments, an Industry Advisory Panel, as well as visiting and affiliated contributors.


Study Digital Humanities

The Department of Information Studies offers various opportunities to study Digital Humanities at post-graduate level, as well as short courses.

UCLDH Research Projects


UCLDH supports and facilitates wide-ranging technological engagement across the Arts, Humanities and Cultural Heritage.



UCLDH Team Members are available for consultancy work to help scope, plan, and execute digital projects.



UCLDH hold a variety of events that are open to the public, including a regular seminar series.



UCLDH cultivates close working relationships across the university and beyond, with international institutions, culture and heritage sectors and industry partners.


UCLDH works in conjunction with a range of departments at UCL, whilst also supporting initiatives to help others.
