9 Micrarium

By Shiza

Here you can see microscope slides of insects and animal parts. There are many varieties (groups) of small insects which maybe even you haven’t ever seen! From the smallest to the brightest and most colourful. The light behind the slides lets you see each tiny creature in better detail. It’s a much bigger thing than you expect.
Did you know 95% of all insects are smaller than your thumb. That probably made you shocked. But listen to this! There are 1,000’s of different species in the Micrarium! That’s amazing right? In fact there are a total of 2,323 individual specimens! Have a look.
