How a UCL scientist laid the foundations for the coronavirus jab decades ago.
Almost 50 years ago, UCL School of Pharmacy Emeritus Professor Gregory Gregoriadis discovered that encasing vaccines in fat droplets could help their efficacy. Yesterday he was excited to receive his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine which uses technology which is a direct descendant of his research.
