A quick look at the Net Zero Innovation Programme

A sneak preview of the UCL & Local Government Association initiative which partners councils and universities to tackle local climate problems together.

The Net Zero Innovation Programme (NZIP) supports councils & universities to define the challenges they face locally as well as to develop projects that could begin to address them.

The scope of the programme is broad: past participants have addressed a range of challenges from decarbonising transport or improving air quality, to reducing climate impact on vulnerable communities or improving wellbeing through green spaces. The practical tools and solutions that projects create include the development of training, toolkits, mapping documents or calculators.
