Our paediatric nutrition research spans cognitive function, cardiovascular health, bone health, body composition, biochemistry, dietetics, energy metabolism and staple isotope research.
We are particularly interested in the impact of early nutrition on long term health, neurodevelopment and cognitive function, and risk markers of cardiovascular disease, body fatness and bone health.
Much of our work on nutrition links into research on growth, development and well-being and involves designing culturally appropriate and sustainable interventions to help long term prevention of diseases.
