Diego Izquierdo Gonzalez awarded the Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence 2022/23

Diego, had this to say: "I feel deeply honoured and grateful to have received this faculty award. Despite the challenges of the past year, I am very happy that my dedication and hard work have been recognised. I want to express my gratitude to all those who have supported me, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity."

Only one such award is made to a first- and second-year student in the Faculty each year, Faculty Undergraduate Scholarship for Excellence, so this really is a tremendous achievement. It is a great pleasure to see that not only your academic performance is excellent, your peers also think very highly of you.
