Study Opportunities

The Anatomy Laboratory delivers undergraduate teaching to students on the Neuroscience BSc and Biological Sciences BSc within the Faculty of Life Sciences, offering a hands-on approach to anatomy. 

Within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the six-year programme, (with an option for integrated BSc) leading to the awards of Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), begins with the first patient experience in the AL. 

Students may extend their time in the anatomy laboratory by choosing to enrol on some of our modules (Forensic Osteology, Medical Physics and Advanced Anatomy) and student selected components (Anatomy and Art, Evolutionary Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy dissection and the Anatomy of a Scientific Paper). 

Alongside these courses we offer the opportunity for external faculties to hire our facilities for training in Osteopathic Medicine, Dentistry, Art and many research opportunities.
