Biography
I am a postdoc research fellow in the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment working with Prof Nick Lane on the vectorial reduction of carbon dioxide using hydrogen with catalysis by iron–nickel sulfide clusters. I received a PhD in geomicrobiology from the University of Dundee in 2021.My research interests lie primarily at the interface between biology and geology, specifically the origin of life, cellular and bio-molecular interactions at mineral surfaces and biomineralization.
