Collaboration suggests a prominent role of the temporal retina in controlling visual functions

A new study indicates that the establishment of temporal retinal character during early retinal development is required for the specification of the HAA, and suggests a prominent role of the temporal retina in controlling specific visual functions.

The study represents the results of a fruitful research collaboration between the Wilson and Bianco labs of UCL Cell and Developmental Biology's Zebrafish Facility, St George's University, London, and the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa in Spain.
