Congratulations Henna Zahid from SMB

Henna's thesis topic was on "Structure and function studies of lipid binding to zinc-α2-glycoprotein" - a plasma glycoprotein involved with diabetes, obesity and cachexia. Her supervisors were Dr Lindsay McDermott (University of Bedfordshire), Dr Alun Coker (UCL Medicine) and Prof Steve Perkins (SMB). Many thanks to Henna's examiners who were Dr Alan Lowe (SMB) and Dr John Viles (Queen Mary College, London). The Perkins group celebrated the occasion in a nearby restaurant that evening!
