10 December 2020

Romain Bourboulou

Romain Bourboulou, a postdoc in Prof Caswell Barry's lab, has been awarded a prestigious Bettencourt Schueller Foundation prize for work conducted during his PhD. Dr Bourboulou studied the ways in which hippocampal neurons form stable spatial representations by combining information from multiple visual and non-visual sources. He now continues this work at UCL, and is particularly interested in the neural mechanisms that support memory consolidation.
