Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies bursaries

Students on the Manufacture and Commercialisation of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies MSc at UCL will be eligible to apply for one of two Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies bursaries of £7,000
The Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies network offers bursaries for home fee-paying students on UCL’s MSc Manufacture and Commercialisation of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies course. The Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies are funded by LifeArc, the Medical Research Council, and the Biotechnology Biological Sciences Research Council.
These bursaries are for students who meet at least one of our widening participation criteria or for students who achieve a first in their undergraduate degree.
The Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies network offers bursaries for home fee-paying students on our MSc Manufacture and Commercialisation of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies. The Innovation Hubs for Gene Therapies are funded by the Medical Research Council and LifeArc.
Award winners will be able to put the funds towards living expenses or course fees; the choice is entirely their own.
Application criteria
- You have accepted your offer to study for the Manufacture and Commercialisation of Stem Cell and Gene Therapies MSc programme
- You will be paying the 'home' rate of fees (overseas students are not eligible)
- You do no not already hold a master's level degree or higher.
- You are self-funded.
You must also meet one or both of the following criteria:
- You're from a group that is evidentially under-represented among the institution's taught masters population – see the widening participation criteria for postgraduate scholarships.
- You've already achieved or currently predicted a first-class undergraduate degree – see the academic merit criteria for postgraduate scholarships.
