Exploring Multilingualism in London

A talk and stand at the UCL Festival of Culture: Froso Argyri, Li Wei ,Merle Mahon discuss language childhood bilingualism, ways to support bilingual children as well UCL BiLingo's 'Home Culture Stories' project that celebrates London's linguistic and cultural diversity. Participants have the opportunity to listen to home culture stories multilingual Londoners have shared. 

Madiha Sajid, Co-Chair of UCL PACT and a mother to a bilingual child discusses the challenges she faced when raising her bilingual daughter and highlights the importance of home language maintenance as well as the advantages of bilingualism.
