About the role

The UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources (ISR) is recruiting a Research Fellow to contribute to the LINKS (ERC Starting Grant) and the renewable investment risks projects. The LINKS project aims to explore the role of the financial system to foster the low-carbon transition using quantitative techniques, in particular network models. The renewable investment risks project focuses on risk evaluation and underwriting instruments for renewable energy investment in developing countries. The candidate will join the climate finance team led by Dr Nadia Ameli at the UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources. This post is available from 01/01/2024 and is funded for 12 months in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available.

About you

The ideal candidate is a highly quantitative, analytical, and person policy-oriented with an expert knowledge of computer programming, network models and investment risks approaches, with a keen interest in their application to climate finance, sustainability and multi-disciplinary research.
