Tristian Christie

Tristian Christie is a student in the 2022-23 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Tristian is a recent BS graduate in Economics and International Development Studies from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. He is a native from The Bahamas who is interested in the development of small-island states and the diversification of their economies. He has interned at the Central Bank of The Bahamas where he conducted original research accessing the efficiency of public spending, particularly on education, and its potential to influence per capita economic growth in The Bahamas. As The Bahamas’ Chevening Scholar this year, Tristian is excited to learn as much as he can on what it takes to encourage an inclusive and innovative policy environment in The Bahamas.
