Mohammad Azimpour

Mohammad Azimpour is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Mohammad Azimpour
Mohammad began his career in May 2013 by founding an economic research group at Ghadr Research Institute, an Iranian NGO focused on governance and policy impact. He soon began his bachelor's in theoretical economics, balancing academics with volunteer work for initiatives like Transparency for Iran's parliament and a student journal. Mohammad later earned a master's degree in economics while maintaining his research group activities. He chose the IIPP, because he is passionately aligned with their guiding principle: 'Innovation is political.’ In his free time, Mohammad enjoys playing the instrument (Setar), although he considers himself an amateur.
