Teona Tomashvili
Teona is passionate about harnessing innovation and technology to address the challenges faced by democratic societies.  In 2017, she co-founded a nonprofit organisation dedicated to leveraging data, design, and technology to empower organisations in making a meaningful impact. Their initiatives span from crafting data visualisations to developing civic tech tools and fostering a vibrant community centred around data, technology, and innovation.  Over the past two years, Teona has been committed to enhancing public data accessibility as a means of holding Georgian government accountable. She led a civic tech project that mobilised activists to encourage governmental agencies to release public data, enabling greater transparency and empowering citizens to monitor and investigate government activities.
