Liam Orme is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Liam’s drive to pursue bold, systemic progress towards a sustainable and just future has motivated his work in government and academia. As a Senior Policy Analyst with the Government of British Columbia, he has worked to align the province’s economic, social, and environmental objectives in the energy transition. Between 2018 and 2021, he co-founded and coordinated the University of British Columbia (UBC) Climate Hub, a student-led, staff-supported research, policy, and action hub advancing climate justice. Liam completed his studies in UBC’s Bachelor of International Economics program with a focus on innovation and international development.
