Fernanda Torres Alam

Fernanda Torres Alam is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Fernanda Torres Alam
Fernanda is a sociologist, Master of Sociology from PUC Chile, with valuable experience in public innovation. After graduating, she worked as a researcher at the Public Innovation Lab of the Public Policy Centre at PUC Chile, where she engaged on the redesign of public services and the development of innovation projects on a wide range of pressing issues, such as science and technology, social security, children in state care, among others. Fernanda is pursuing the MPA because she is convinced that the promotion of sustainable and inclusive development requires a comprehensive integration of the worlds of research, policy design and policy implementation through innovative, practical and scalable solutions.
