Steven Tilkin is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Steven is an architect who is specialised in leading the briefing, stakeholder engagement and early design stages of complex and/or innovation driven architectural projects and large-scale programmes to ensure they deliver value for clients and society. Throughout the years these projects have become bigger, more complex and with wider societal impacts. In the last few years Steven has started to apply this design-thinking based approach to problems that go beyond architectural problems. Currently he is using his skills to assist an NGO whose focus it is to provide scalable, accessible clean energy solutions to tackle the climate and energy crisis.
