Cassandra Mah is a student in the 2023-24 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Cassandra Mah
Cassandra is fascinated by the influences between our systems, environments, and value. Following her bachelor’s degree in population health, Cassandra conducted research in active transportation, quality of life measurement, the economics of HIV, and healthcare quality. These experiences convinced her of the importance of addressing upstream determinants of health. Prior to joining IIPP, Cassandra consulted with municipalities on health, housing, and accessibility plans/projects. While her background is analytic, her nature is strategic and collaborative. Cassandra is motivated to learn how to shape policy to facilitate a shift toward healthy, sustainable, and equitable environments.
