Liviu Neagu

Liviu Neagu is a student in the 2021-22 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

Liviu graduated from UCL in 2018 with a BA in European Social and Political Studies. He holds a multidisciplinary, international background, having interned with the Government of Romania, a public affairs consultancy, and then transitioning into financial services. He also spent one year at Freie Universität.

Through the MPA programme, he aims to further his knowledge of designing and measuring policies that generate economic development whilst creating better social experiences and outcomes. His interests vary from topics like inequality, access to finance and government capacity building. He takes particular interest in the future of Romania’s business, policy and government sectors.
