Jordan Sandman is a Honorary Research Fellow at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP).

He previously helped set up the Digital Impact and Governance Initiative (DIGI) at New America, where he researched and advocated for digital public infrastructure as a tool to build stronger democratic institutions both in the United States and abroad.
Prior to joining New America, Sandman completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) team leader, leading teams on disaster response and other community improvement projects in rural parts of Missouri, Colorado, and Kansas.
Sandman holds a B.A. in public policy from the University of Michigan's Ford School with a focus on social and economic policy.
