Beichen Wang was a student in the 2019 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Beichen Wang has an academic history of public administration and management. He has developed a research interest in the development of urban governance in transitional China. Currently, he is doing an explorative study on the role of Chinese street-level bureaucrats in the community quarantine policy implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic and its implication for the bottom-up governance in urban management. In the future, he is dedicated to combining his academic experience with a career in the area of China’s public administration.
