Anna Goulden

Anna Goulden is Research & Policy Analyst (MOIN) at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP).

Anna Goulden
Anna is a Research & Policy Analyst at IIPP and part of the Mission-Oriented Innovation Network (MOIN) team.
 
Prior to IIPP, she worked on international research, innovation and technology policy for the UK Government. Most recently, she was a Senior Policy Advisor in Global Research and Innovation for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (now DSIT) where she led on R&I policy and partnership development with countries in South Asia. Previously, she was a Policy Advisor for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport where she represented the department at international internet governance organisations including the UN Internet Governance Forum in which she was appointed a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group.

She also has a background as a journalist and researcher developing resources for governments on policy topics and approaches such as digital government, citizen engagement and human-centred design.

She holds a BA degree in Classics from King’s College, University of Cambridge, where she was awarded the Jasper Ridley academic prize. Alongside her role at IIPP, she is pursuing a Master of Research (MRes) in Public Policy at Birkbeck College, University of London.
