Alex Ross wins StAR of the Year Award

The 2016 UCL Staff Choice StAR of the Year award has been awarded to the Bartlett School of Planning's Alex Ross (BSc Urban Planning, Design and Management). 

The Staff Choice StAR of the Year award rewards a Student Academic Representative (StAR) who has exhibited outstanding achievement in their role and has had a significant impact on behalf of the students they represent. StARs are nominated for the award by UCL staff.

Alex received his award from Professor Anthony Smith, Vice-Provost (Education & Student Affairs), at the annual StARs Reception held on Monday 6th June. At the event, StARs were also awarded certificates which act as a record of their commitment to representing the interests of their fellow students and reflect the importance to UCL of student representation.
