What are the EcoCity Summits?

First held in 1990, Ecocity World Summit is a three day global conference on sustainable cities. Every two years it brings together urban stakeholders from across the globe to focus on key actions that cities and citizens can take to rebuild our human habitat in balance with living systems.

Worldwide, the call for everybody to become more sustainable is top of the social agenda. From pedestrians to governments, we have a responsibility to creating an eco-friendlier existence in our cities, not only future generations, but generations living right now. This summit will focus on positive change and progress for cities and those who inhabit them.

The Academic Committee

BSP's Professor Catalina Turcu is part of the summit's Academic Committee, a team of experts on hand to review submitted research & ideas and help shape the programme to bring value to the academic community and foster collaboration across sectors.
