BSP Staff Win Best Paper Award for the RSA eZine Regions

The Regional Studies Association have awarded Dr Nicola Livingstone (BSP), Dr Michael Short (BSP) and Dr Stefania Fiorentino (University of Cambridge, previously BSP) with the Best Paper Award for the eZine Regions for articles submitted in the 2020 issue.

The paper 'Financialisation and urban densification: London and Manchester’s niche student housing markets.' discusses the wider implications of financialisation through densification processes, and specifically considers developments providing student accommodation, as an under-researched element of the UK’s housing market.
