Fernando Gutiérrez receives UCL Graduate Research Scholarship

Fernando Gutiérrez (PhD Candidate in the UCL Institute of the Americas) has received one of the UCL Graduate Research Scholarships for Cross-disciplinary Training to spend during the academic year 2021/22 at the Bartlett School of Planning developing his research under the supervision of Dr Michael Short and Dr Pablo Sendra.


The working title of his research project is ‘Attachment and memory: urban regeneration and the Alameda Central in Mexico City’s historic centre’. It seeks to evaluate the effectsof regeneration policies on historic areas in Mexico City.
