The Bartlett School of Planning launch a summary video of the SINTROPHER project (Sustainable Integrated Transport Options for Peripheral Urban Regions), funded by EU INTERREG IVB.

Sintropher seeks to examine how innovative rail-based technologies can deliver sustainable, cost-effective public transport in 'peripheral' areas of North West Europe. There are five partner regions: North Hesse (Kassel) in Germany, West Flanders in Belgium, Arnhem-Nijmegen in the Netherlands, Valenciennes in France and the Fylde Coast (Blackpool) in the UK.
The project brings together 52 partner organisations from 8 countries in North West Europe.
UCL study team included: Robin Hickman, Colin Osborne, Iqbal Hamiduddin, Charles King, Chia-Lin Chen and Peter Hall.
