What is it like to be a student on a postgraduate degree at The Bartlett School of Planning?
In this event, which will take a virtual Zoom webinar format, you will gain a preview into a postgraduate lecture with Dr Michael Short, who will share with you some of the cross-cutting issues in our field at present. The themes and topics covered in this session will include:
- Community engagement in planning
- Critical dialogues in comparative urbanism
- Everyday economies
- Urban mobility
- Urban design, urban form, and the density debate.
Dr Michael Short is Bartlett School of Planning's Postgraduate Tutor with oversight of admission, induction, supervision, progression, and examination of graduate students in the Department. At the end of the taster lecture, we will have a Q&A (question and answer) session where you will have the opportunity to ask Michael your questions about the content of our postgraduate courses you'll be learning when you come to study at The Bartlett School of Planning, including how you can specialise your studies to a specific area of planning.
